Dandy

"Dandy" is a 2005 model mare. She stands just a hair over 14 hands and is a thick little mare. We have started her on cattle in the arena, and she has been behind them on many drives. She has a nice round foot and good bone. She is kind, willing, and very cowy. I was using Dandy in our local Ranch Rodeo when she over reached and cut her tendon, the vet was there and sewed them back together. She was on stall rest for 3 weeks then put in a larger pen and now she is turned out to pasture. Much to everyone's surprise she is out running and playing with out the slightest limp. We are going to start riding her again in march with light riding then hopefully she will be back to 100 percent by July. Stay tuned for more information on her recovery.
